New Market Tax Credit Roundtable

Congress created the New Market Tax Credit program, part of the Community Renewal Tax Relief Act of 2000, to encourage investment in low-income communities.  This program provides tax incentives to investors to make investments in distressed communities and promotes economic improvements through the development of real estate projects and businesses.

On Thursday, April 29th, from 12:00-1:30pm, join the ULI Philadelphia-Lehigh Valley Satellite for a roundtable where we will delve into the mechanics of a New Market Tax Crediit project and much more!  Speakers include Vince Bekiempis, AICP, Principal, Bekiempis and Associates and Greg Peil, New Market Tax Credit Program Manager, The Reinvestment Fund.  Our roundtable format will provide plenty of opportunity for a question and answer session.  Our lunch program is being held in the Public Hearing Room of the Lehigh County Government Center, 17 South Seventh Street, Allentown.

Registration deadline is April 23rd but seating is limited to the first 30 registrations so don't delay!  You can register online or fill out a registration form and fax to the number on the form. For more information, contact Gerri Lipp at 215-525-4977
